The 2026 Individual Trophy took place on Sunday 28th June at a blustery Prestatyn Links, where 10 of the 18 holes played into the strong wind created a stern challenge for the 39-player field.
John Woods, Captain of Prestatyn, welcomed the Association.
No birdie twos were scored, much to the Treasurer’s likely delight.
Our Captain, John Evans, thanked the caterers for the excellent meal and the greenkeepers for presenting the course so well, before presenting the Individual Trophy to John Woods, who won with an excellent 36 points.
Phil Blythin finished runner-up with 35 points.
Andy Joinson took third place on countback with 34 points.
Nigel Bingham placed fourth, also with 34 points.
