The eagerly awaited match between FGC&PCA and South Cheshire Past Captains Society was played at the 6,247-yard, par-73 Heyrose Golf Club on a warm, sunny Tuesday, 16th May.
Govinder Sehmi, Captain of Heyrose Golf Club, welcomed everyone and wished them an enjoyable day of golf.
Once the matches had finished, everyone sat down to a thoroughly enjoyable dinner and a well-earned drink. David Guerin, IPC Captain of South Cheshire, thanked the caterers for the excellent meal and the greens staff for presenting the course in such outstanding condition.
John Evans, Captain of the Association, thanked his playing partner, Tony Davies, and their South Cheshire opponents, David and Govinda, for a fine match.
John also expressed his thanks to Heyrose Golf Club and the South Cheshire Past Captains Society for their kind hospitality.
FGC&PCA secured a 7–3 victory, with David Guerin presenting the annual trophy to John Evans.
